Our Mission

KN4LEX was created to provide the local Amateur Radio Community, particularly in the EM78uj area, as well as all Amateur Radio Operators, with various types of information related to amateur radio operations, emergency communication, grid down situations, and other fun and creative ways to utilize amateur radio. This includes activities via phone, digital nets, or CW. Remember, when all else fails, radio works on or off grid.

KN4LEX

Coming by Summer of 2026

The plan is to have a local digital reflector/repeater setup and running by the summer of 2026, enhancing amateur radio operations in the EM78uj area. This setup will include DMR, Fusion, and D-Star, enabling seamless communication across different digital formats. If components are available, this will be operational, allowing users to engage in cross-talk between the various digital flavors, which is essential for effective emergency communication via digital radio.
